What is there to do?People that have never been to Wolverhampton usually ask me what there is to do there. In all honesty, it's a bit of a silly question. Wolverhampton is like every other city... Here you can go shopping, have coffee in places like Starbucks and Caffè Nero, play pool and snooker, have drinks in bars or nightclubs, play football or tennis in parks, exercise at the gym, eat at an Indian restaurant... The list goes on and on. If you like art and architecture - you can also visit Wolverhampton's art gallery or the many churches which exist within the city. Isn't Wolverhampton boring? If you're a boring person (in general) - any place is going to be boring for you. If you're comfortable with yourself and you can organise social events, obviously a place like Wolverhampton will rarely be boring. I'm a believer that if you want to make a place exciting to live in - then you've got to take the initiative. I've lived in London before... I can tell you that London can be boring, however, it was only boring because I wasn't earning enough whilst I was living there - and also, I had not been setting up social events. Wolverhampton can be brilliant - but you've got to find things to do and be responsible for creating your own social circles. If you're negative and a bit depressed - then of course - you're not going to enjoy your time here, and the chances are - you possibly won't enjoy any place. Happiness and contentment comes from within.
